*On May 10, 2024, during the PCI Executive Committee Meeting, a significant announcement was made that until the inquiries are sought Mr. Satyanarayana will be stepping down from his role as Chairperson of Para Athletics in response to public grievances with immediate effect. An independent investigation committee has been formed to investigate the numerous complaints filed against Mr. Satyanarayana for his inappropriate behavior towards Arjuna Awardee and Paralympic Swimmer Mr. Prasanta Karmakar. Mr. Jayawanth G.H., Secretary General, has taken over as the Chairperson, Para Athletics in place of Mr. Satyanarayana.
