MEMORANDUM
Due to decline in COVID 19 restrictions around the globe, we are receiving requests from many Para-Athletes who are willing to participate in International Events at their own cost for the purpose of classification / ranking / competition / courses.
In order to further streamline the processes of travel in any capacity at international events under the ambit of Paralympic Committee of India (and at No Cost to Government), it is important that the below mentioned guidelines in confirmation with the guidelines already approved by the Governing Board meeting, are adhered to, when accreditation, participation and invitation is requested through PCI.
- The final list of all the participants has to be approved by the Office of the President and Secretary General, PCI.
- Chairperson STCs should send the complete proposal along with Selection Criteria with diligent justification of members traveling in the team to be presented in the Selection Committee meeting, even for those who are traveling at their own cost.
- Those participating at No Cost to Government shall be submitting an undertaking on the Legal Paper that they shall be participating at their own risk and responsibility without recourse to PCI and also assure good self-discipline.
- Any accompanying staff whose details are not approved by the President and Secretary General PCI will be declared as not-valid entity.
- All Visas requested under the ambit of PCI for any foreign travel should be duly updated to the Office of President and Secretary General, PCI. Upon return of participating candidates/team back into country, the same should be updated to the Office of President and Secretary General PCI within 7 days from return, by the respective Chairpersons / Team Managers.
- Henceforth, for all such Official and Administrative purposes regarding foreign travels under the aegis of PCI, the undersigned's signature is requested to be taken with legible ink.
