The XVI-National Para Swimming Championship was conducted at Sawai Mansingh Stadium Indoor Swimming Pool,
Jaipur from March 31 to April 4, 2017 by Para Sports Association of Rajasthan (PSAR) under the auspices of Paralympic Committee of India (PCI) and under technical guidance of Para Swimming Federation of India.
A total of 386 Para Swimmers from 21 different teams/states participated in the 5-day Championship.
The teams were from Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Chandigarh, Chattisgarh, Delhi, Goa, Gujarat, Haryana, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Punjab, Rajasthan, Services Sports Control Board, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal.
The Championship was conducted in three Age Groups, i.e. Seniors (Men & Women) - 19th year and above, Juniors (Men & Women) - 15th year to 18+ years and Sub-Juniors (Men & Women) - 9th year to 14+ years
